The Agenda is a trilingual magazine (French, Arabic, and English). Printed twice a month up to 30 000 copies, it is delivered in the 5 countries of the Gulf.
Written for the 250 000 French speaking readers in the Gulf, l'Agenda is the very first magazine giving information concerning culture, “art de la table”, evening events, expatriation documents, news concerning the Alliance Française. The French season
Organized by the French Embassy in the E.A.U. and French Business Group during May, this event celebrates the very strong relationship existing between France and the Emirates.
Many events such as films, exhibitions, operas, economical and technical forums, fashion shows will take place in various place of the town : shopping Mall, cinemas, universities, Emirates Palace, etc.. A great French event in the Emirates !

Artparis Abu Dhabi
Created in 1999, Artparis is an international fair dedicated to modern and contemporary art which takes place in March of each year, in the heart of Paris, under the elegant glass roof of the Grand Palais, a prestigious location of French culture. With the strength of the artparis reputation behind them, the organizers, entered into an exclusive partnership together with the authorities of Abu Dhabi - Abu Dhabi Authority for Cultural and Heritage and Tourism Development & Investment company -, for the creation of a fair for modern and contemporary art, to be mounted each year under the name of “artparis-AbuDhabi”.
Since 2007, this exhibition takes place each year in the ballroom and the Emirates Palace Gardens thanks to the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Almost 12000 visitors come and admire 3300 of the most beautiful items belonging to 60 galleries representing 22 different countries. Masterpieces of famous artists such as Picasso, Keith H, Cezanne mingled with others signed by mid- eastern wellknown or young unknown artists. Last year exhibition added new educational programs, such as discussions and activities.
The Artparis Abu Dhabi third exhibition will take place next November 2009.

All the year long, the Paris Sorbonne University – Abu Dhabi (PSUAD) proposes a series of seminars concerning for example : the importance towns have in the international literature, or the place the President De Gaulle played in the Arab world or, the fear one can have in front of someone else. The University PSUAD also propose a unique non-degree educational programme given by university teachers and expert guests, the Open-Sorbonne university. 'Open-Sorbonne' targets French-speaking, English speaking and Arabic speaking audiences. It sheds the light on new and traditional themes of reflection and culture in the respective fields of Humanities, Law and even Economics Sciences. These cycles target all those who wish to enhance their knowledge and further develop their academic curiosity. They do not require a previous knowledge of the selected topic, nor do they necessitate any prior degrees.

And soon… le Louvre ! The universal Louvre Abu Dhabi museum will open on Saadiyat island in 2012.
